Music by Diverse Composers
During our first workshop and throughout this summer, we have realized the importance of creating a space where brass players can find music by diverse composers. We are hoping that this place will be a great resource but it is just a start. Asking other colleagues what composers they recommend and actively commissioning diverse people you know personally is also a great way to start. We will updated it over time and let us know if you have any resources to add to the list!

Rather than linking to Amazon or another bookstore, we encourage you to support a local bookstore and/or a black owned bookstore in your area if possible. Here is a website that lists bookstores by state so you can find one near you.
